**Got Building Skills or Ideas? We Need You**
Our shelter, housed in a beautiful but aging former church, is always in need of upkeep and improvements. We’re looking for folks with skills, experience, or creative ideas to help us tackle building-related issues—whether it’s repairs, maintenance, or innovative solutions to make our space safer and more welcoming. If you or someone you know can lend a hand or offer advice, please reach out to Rae at rmartin@stjohncenter.org or 502-568-6758.
**Opportunity from the Humana Foundation**
We are actively recruiting juniors/seniors in high school and seniors ages 65+ who are established and emerging community leaders to serve on our Senior Council Advisory Board. Humana Foundation Council members must live in one of our target geographies of Florida, Kentucky (Louisville), Louisiana or Texas. The Senior Council is a voluntary group of 8-10 members – seniors 65+, juniors/seniors in high school and a Humana associate – who have input in creating unique experiences that bring the Foundation’s health equity mission to life. Please direct recommended students or seniors to the online application. We’ve set a goal to receive all final online applications by Friday, May 30.
